WBJEE 2024 was conducted on 28th April for admissions to engineering and pharmacy programs.
कोलकाता: Nearly one lakh candidates appeared for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination on Sunday. A senior WBJEE official stated that students appeared for the B.Tech and B.Pharm programs at 328 exam centers – including three centers in the northeastern region of the country. The four-hour long exam was successfully concluded.

A statement from the Metro Railway mentioned that special services were operated for WBJEE candidates on the Blue Line (South Esplanade to New Garia) from 8:30 am to 9:40 pm. On Sunday, 140 services (70 up and 70 down) were operated during the day, an increase from the usual 130 services.
